Mangart Tandem Paragliding
Experience Description
Experience soaring above the Julian Alps with a breathtaking tandem paragliding flight from Mangart Saddle. We’ll pick you up in Bovec and drive to the highest paved road in Slovenia, arriving at the scenic Mangart takeoff site (~1,990 m). After receiving top-quality gear and a safety briefing, your certified local pilot will guide you on take-off. As you glide over the Loška Koritnica Valley, “Wall of Log,” and cascading waterfalls, you may even spot distant Triglav, the Adriatic Sea, and neighboring Italian and Austrian Alps on clear days. The flight lasts 20–45 minutes on average, occasionally extending to up to an hour in optimal weather. You’ll land in the charming mountain village of Log pod Mangartom (~630 m), then return to Bovec—fully exhilarated by the experience. Safety is paramount: takeoffs are managed only in ideal weather, and landings consider valley wind conditions carefully.
